Download the TestNav™ delivery system to each computer (Windows
or Macintosh) or a file server within your LAN/WAN environment.
This software is needed in order to take a test.

Verify the TestNav Install
To verify that TestNav is installed correctly and can access your eMeasurement Services site, follow these steps:
- Launch TestNav by double clicking on the TestNav shortcut icon on your desktop.
- Enter this URL in the TestNav drop-down address field:
http://www9.etest.pearson.com/DEMO
- Click the Go button. When the TestNav login screen appears, you have verified a successful installation.
• You can close the window by clicking on the X in the upper-right corner of the screen (on a Windows machine), or by clicking the red X in the upper-left corner of the screen (on a Mac).

Proctor Caching Software
This software is used to accelerate the delivery of test content
in the eMeasurement environment and reduce the amount of bandwidth
required for electronic testing. It is recommended for use
with TestNav and is required for use with
audio testing. The Proctor Caching Software is available in
both Macintosh and Windows versions. Refer to the Proctor
Caching User’s Guide for specifics on installing, configuring,
and using the Proctor Caching Software.
